Deepology pres. Deep In The City: Moscow
Deep in the City is a new series of compilations from the Moscow’s Deepology Digital label. Through these series we attempt to discover the character depths of the principal locations of the Earth – the cities which live and pulse in their own unique ways. The opening compilation is devoted to Moscow, the city where our label lives, creates and studies the world around it. Check out the previews and mini-site dedicated to the series.

Sebastian Davidson - Drop Deep EP [DD022]
release date: 23 August 2008

Holla, bonjour, ciao, saludo, Gru?! This is a Deepology transmission again: coming out next - Sebastian Davidson - Drop Deep EP. It's a surprise if you don't know Seb, this is hardly possible, the guy is always coming out with great tracks and this EP is another example. It starts with an excellent deepish and mellow tune California Soup, which is also available in a version by Edmund, which adds an original housey groove and even vocals and then there's a big dancefloor shaker Drop Deep, remixed by K-Bana in his own original way, a taste of which you might've got on our previous releases. We're talking finest quality here, enjoy.

Mr Jones / The Disclosure Project (Exquisite, Night Drive, Elevation)
All the tracks are amazing. I will be playing both K-Bana and Drop Deep Original! Thank you for these!
Mike Haddad (Witty Tunes)
Some pretty lovely East-Coast house (East-Coast nu-house?!) flavours here. Nothing too rushed, very summery. A classic sort of deep-house template that's sure to get a lot of plays. I can hear myself dropping this in some early-evening bar-sets by the water! Edmund I Wanna is my favourite mix - the bassline is wonderful, and the vocal-cutup reminds me a lot of Akufen's work. Simply elegant stuff...really lovely. I'll definitely be dropping this to warm up the floor. It's difficult not to like!
Rick (Deepchild)
Really feeling Drop Deep, nice atmosphere to it. Your releases have a tendancy to weasel their way into my early sets on a pretty frequent basis, keep it up :)
Tom Morgan

Really like this E.P mate, thank you for sending it. My pick of the bunch (& only just) is Drop Deep (K-bana Remix) killer groove, beautiful melody and one of those really special dancefloor tech housers. The original of Drop Deep is hot aswell will be playing this for sure! I also really dig the early doors vibe of California Soup, all three of tunes will be getting my support.
