Sebastian Davidson, Ferdy & Edwin Mulder - Night Shift [DD025]

It is another single by the Sebastian Davidson this time in collaboration with Ferdy & Edwin Mulder packed with four hot remixes. The original mellow deep house tune with a light techy touch is interpreted here by Nacho Marco in a stylish way for a taste of old-school house vibes. It's nice to feel that contrast and connection.
Then there is a variant by Ukrainian Playmotion guys, which recently had Mr. Timewriter himself remixed on the Plastic City label. It merges you into deep bass lines, hypnotic sounds and beautiful melodies. An emotional one.
A man from Izhevsk, young and talented, Mr. Alex Douche with previous releases on the Deepology label gives his own version of classy modern house, you have to check it for yourself.
And then there are 2Siberian Headz which some of you already know as Acos Coolkas which turned the original into a bassline driven, tight groove, hands in the air dancefloor anthem.

The Alex Douche remix is the classiest rework here, althought the Marco 89 mix is refreshingly raw and percussive. Another solid release of deep, paddy house. Nothing ground-breaking, but 2Siberian Heads mix does take the tune into some more engaging deep and melodic territory. I like the detroit-techno elements of this remix; emotive use of plucked percussion and strings :)

Great EP! Im finding it hard to pick a favourite. The original mix and Alex Douche's are really deep and beautiful. Nacho's is excellent too.

Nacho Marco turns the track into an old-school house styled affair, while Playmotion serve a heavily thumpin' interpretation featuring spaced-out melodies. Alex Douche contributes a beautiful deep'n'groovy version to the package, followed by 2Siberian Headz' tougher electrofied take.
